Does severance delay my unemployment claim? - first time posting

I was offered severance of 13 weeks after being let go as a graphic designer and I am unsure how it affects benefits. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I also wonder about the job-search requirement.

Some states only count certain kinds of severance. A local workforce centre could tell me which.
