Does severance delay my unemployment claim? (Cincinnati)

I was offered severance of 16 weeks after being let go as a logistics coordinator and I am unsure how it affects benefits. I am in Cincinnati, in case local advice matters. I have a mortgage and need to plan. How did your state treat it?

Some states only count certain kinds of severance. A local workforce centre could tell me which.
