Does severance delay my unemployment claim? after 13 years as a graphic designer

I signed a severance agreement and I am worried about how to report it. It has been a long 16 weeks. I also wonder about the job-search requirement. Did you file straight away?

I filed on day one anyway and reported the severance honestly. The agency decided what to do about the timing.
