Denied unemployment, how do I appeal? - first time posting

I was told my separation was for misconduct, which is not what happened. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have not done a hearing before and I am nervous. Did you bring documents or only talk?

Legal aid offices and some workforce centres help with unemployment hearings at no cost. A call is worth it.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
