COBRA quote is huge, any alternatives? - first time posting

I was offered COBRA and the monthly cost is more than I expected as a bank teller. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I saw that marketplace plans might cost less. Did anyone switch mid-year?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
