COBRA quote is huge, any alternatives? after 9 years as a customer-service rep

I was offered COBRA and the monthly cost is more than I expected as a customer-service rep. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I saw that marketplace plans might cost less.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
