COBRA costs more than my rent, what did you do? - first time posting

The COBRA quote for my family is $300 a month and I do not know how to afford it. Any experience at all would help. My old employer will not help with the premium. How did you decide?

If you have a planned treatment, COBRA can make sense for a few months. Otherwise look at the marketplace first.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
