Applying for food benefits after losing my job - what worked for you?

My SNAP recertification is coming up and my income changed a lot since my layoff. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I have a final pay stub, a termination letter and my unemployment approval.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
