Applying for food benefits after losing my job - what worked for you?

I got a notice asking for proof of income and I am unsure what to send. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. There are 3 people in my household.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Take photos of everything you send and write down the date. I had to resend one page and the record helped.
