Applying for food benefits after losing my job - what worked for you?

I got a notice asking for proof of income and I am unsure what to send. I am in Wichita, in case local advice matters. There are 15 people in my household. Is there an expedited option for people with very little income?

Take photos of everything you send and write down the date. I had to resend one page and the record helped.
