Applying for food benefits after losing my job (update)

I lost my job as a security officer and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. It has been a long 10 weeks. I have a final pay stub, a termination letter and my unemployment approval.

I sent my last two pay stubs, the separation letter and a bank statement. I heard back in about 10 weeks, and my county offered an interview by phone.

Take photos of everything you send and write down the date. I had to resend one page and the record helped.
