Applying for food benefits after losing my job (update)

My SNAP recertification is coming up and my income changed a lot since my layoff. I am in Charlotte, in case local advice matters. I have a final pay stub, a termination letter and my unemployment approval. Did they ask for anything unexpected?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
