I lost my job as a teaching assistant and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. It has been a long 5 weeks. I have a final pay stub, a termination letter and my unemployment approval. What did you submit and how long did approval take?

Ask about expedited service. I was told it depends on how little cash and income you have right now.
