Applying for food benefits after losing my job, payroll clerk here

I got a notice asking for proof of income and I am unsure what to send. I have been trying to stay organised about it. There are 3 people in my household. Is there an expedited option for people with very little income?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
