Applying for food benefits after losing my job (Nashville)

I lost my job as an office manager and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have a final pay stub, a termination letter and my unemployment approval. Is there an expedited option for people with very little income?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
