Applying for food benefits after losing my job - first time posting

My SNAP recertification is coming up and my income changed a lot since my layoff. Any experience at all would help. I have a final pay stub, a termination letter and my unemployment approval. Is there an expedited option for people with very little income?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
