Applying for food benefits after losing my job - first time posting

I got a notice asking for proof of income and I am unsure what to send. I do not usually post, so bear with me. There are 3 people in my household. What did you submit and how long did approval take?

Take photos of everything you send and write down the date. I had to resend one page and the record helped.
