Applying for food benefits after losing my job - first time posting

I lost my job as a sales associate and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. The caseworker asked for bank statements too. Did they ask for anything unexpected?

Ask about expedited service. I was told it depends on how little cash and income you have right now.
