Applying for food benefits after losing my job

I got a notice asking for proof of income and I am unsure what to send. There are 13 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The caseworker asked for bank statements too.

I sent my last two pay stubs, the separation letter and a bank statement. I heard back in about 16 weeks, and my county offered an interview by phone.

Take photos of everything you send and write down the date. I had to resend one page and the record helped.
