Applying for food benefits after losing my job (Charlotte)

I lost my job as a line cook and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. Thank you in advance. There are 12 people in my household. Did they ask for anything unexpected?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

I sent my last two pay stubs, the separation letter and a bank statement. I heard back in about 24 weeks, and my county offered an interview by phone.
