Applying for food benefits after losing my job

I got a notice asking for proof of income and I am unsure what to send. The caseworker asked for bank statements too. What did you submit and how long did approval take?

Take photos of everything you send and write down the date. I had to resend one page and the record helped.

I sent my last two pay stubs, the separation letter and a bank statement. I heard back in about 13 weeks, and my county offered an interview by phone.
