Applying for food benefits after losing my job - any advice?

I lost my job as a school bus driver and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. Thank you in advance. I have a final pay stub, a termination letter and my unemployment approval. Did they ask for anything unexpected?

Ask about expedited service. I was told it depends on how little cash and income you have right now.
