Applying for food benefits after losing my job - any advice?

I got a notice asking for proof of income and I am unsure what to send. I worked as a hotel front-desk agent before this. I have a final pay stub, a termination letter and my unemployment approval. What did you submit and how long did approval take?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
