Applying for food benefits after losing my job (Albuquerque)

I lost my job as a procurement assistant and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. I am in Albuquerque, in case local advice matters. There are 4 people in my household. What did you submit and how long did approval take?

I sent my last two pay stubs, the separation letter and a bank statement. I heard back in about 17 weeks, and my county offered an interview by phone.
