Applying for food benefits after losing my job after 4 years as a paralegal

I lost my job as a paralegal and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. The caseworker asked for bank statements too. What did you submit and how long did approval take?

I sent my last two pay stubs, the separation letter and a bank statement. I heard back in about 18 weeks, and my county offered an interview by phone.
