Applying for food benefits after losing my job after 3 years as a medical assistant

I got a notice asking for proof of income and I am unsure what to send. I am in Nashville, in case local advice matters. The caseworker asked for bank statements too. Is there an expedited option for people with very little income?

Ask about expedited service. I was told it depends on how little cash and income you have right now.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
