Applying for food benefits after losing my job after 16 years as a customer-service rep

I lost my job as a customer-service rep and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. I worked as a customer-service rep before this. The caseworker asked for bank statements too. Is there an expedited option for people with very little income?
