Applying for food benefits after losing my job after 12 years as a teaching assistant

My SNAP recertification is coming up and my income changed a lot since my layoff. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I have a final pay stub, a termination letter and my unemployment approval. What did you submit and how long did approval take?
