Applying for food benefits after losing my job after 11 years as a hotel front-desk agent

My SNAP recertification is coming up and my income changed a lot since my layoff. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I have a final pay stub, a termination letter and my unemployment approval.

I sent my last two pay stubs, the separation letter and a bank statement. I heard back in about 15 weeks, and my county offered an interview by phone.
