Applying for food benefits after losing my job - 8 months and counting

My SNAP recertification is coming up and my income changed a lot since my layoff. I am in Portland, in case local advice matters. There are 4 people in my household. Is there an expedited option for people with very little income?

I sent my last two pay stubs, the separation letter and a bank statement. I heard back in about 17 weeks, and my county offered an interview by phone.
