Applying for food benefits after losing my job - 8 months and counting

My SNAP recertification is coming up and my income changed a lot since my layoff. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have a final pay stub, a termination letter and my unemployment approval. Is there an expedited option for people with very little income?
