Applying for food benefits after losing my job - 6 weeks in

My SNAP recertification is coming up and my income changed a lot since my layoff. I am in Denver, in case local advice matters. There are 7 people in my household. What did you submit and how long did approval take?

I sent my last two pay stubs, the separation letter and a bank statement. I heard back in about 6 weeks, and my county offered an interview by phone.
