Applying for food benefits after losing my job

I lost my job as a quality inspector and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have a final pay stub, a termination letter and my unemployment approval. What did you submit and how long did approval take?

I sent my last two pay stubs, the separation letter and a bank statement. I heard back in about 25 weeks, and my county offered an interview by phone.

Take photos of everything you send and write down the date. I had to resend one page and the record helped.
