Applying for food benefits after losing my job - 4 months and counting

I lost my job as a quality inspector and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. I have a final pay stub, a termination letter and my unemployment approval.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
