Applying for food benefits after losing my job - 23 weeks in

I lost my job as a project coordinator and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I have a final pay stub, a termination letter and my unemployment approval. What did you submit and how long did approval take?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
