Applying for food benefits after losing my job - 2 months and counting

I lost my job as an administrative assistant and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. I worked as an administrative assistant before this. I have a final pay stub, a termination letter and my unemployment approval. Did they ask for anything unexpected?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
