Applying for food benefits after losing my job - 13 months and counting

I lost my job as a logistics coordinator and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. I am in Albuquerque, in case local advice matters. There are 16 people in my household.

Ask about expedited service. I was told it depends on how little cash and income you have right now.

I sent my last two pay stubs, the separation letter and a bank statement. I heard back in about 25 weeks, and my county offered an interview by phone.
