Applying for food benefits after losing my job - 11 months and counting

I lost my job as a software tester and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. The caseworker asked for bank statements too. Did they ask for anything unexpected?

I sent my last two pay stubs, the separation letter and a bank statement. I heard back in about 4 weeks, and my county offered an interview by phone.
