Applying for food benefits after losing my job - 10 months and counting

My SNAP recertification is coming up and my income changed a lot since my layoff. There are 16 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I have a final pay stub, a termination letter and my unemployment approval. Is there an expedited option for people with very little income?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

I sent my last two pay stubs, the separation letter and a bank statement. I heard back in about 6 weeks, and my county offered an interview by phone.
