Appeal deadline questions after an unemployment denial - first time posting

I was told my separation was for misconduct, which is not what happened. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I have not done a hearing before and I am nervous.

File the appeal before the deadline, even if you are unsure. You can gather documents afterwards. That is the one part I would not wait on.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
